Another warming period bites the dust (28 jan 21)

It's disputed who, if, any said 'We have to get rid of the medieval warm period', but if they did, that's how they spelt it. In any case, from 2001, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change disappeared this temperature bump from their graphs. If Chaucer's time was warmer than now, it's more difficult, but not impossible, to argue that driving SUVs is catastrophically waming the planet.

Another previously believed previous warming period was the mid-Holocene, which this graph, from the Guardian, shows to be about 8000 years ago, but the text says 6000. In any case, they've got rid of it too.

Between 300 million and 50 million years ago, it was hotter than now.

Also, between 450 and 350 million years ago.

These two warm periods are the next to go.

But the real clincher will be whent the climage gods have refuted the story of the "Hadean Epoch". Allegedly, it was 230 °C on average. If they can show that the earth was in fact as cold then as Pluto is now, I'll sell my SUV.
