Rails and Merb Merge (24 dec 08)

http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20081224-ruby-on-rails-and-merb-to-merge-for-rails-3.html

'Another critical characteristic of Merb that Hansson wants to adopt in Rails is the strong API stability guarantee, which will make the extensibility of the framework more robust.'

A this blog shows, Merb has been far from stable - Rails is much more stable, accurately documented, intuitive and easy to work with. I hope the new framework maintains this.

PS. want to know why why I became a Ruby geek?

David Heinemeier Hansson

Ezra Zygmuntowicz
