The Guardian deletes my comments about global warming (08 sep 11)

...but whines about someone else doing it

I pointed out that the IPCC used anecdotal hikers' reports about glacial retreat, which are scientifically invalid, because hikers only see a tiny proportion of the world's ice, and because stories like 'this Canadian glacier has retreated this far since 1890' is meaningless, since we don't know where it was in 1500. My first comment was removed because it "didn't abide by our community standards". Several commenters replied to it, so I replied to them, pointing out that my original comment had been censored. My comments have now disappeared - but the replies remain. Climate change scepticism is perhaps the second most censored opinion today.
