Climate scientists have discovered that "solar variability sometimes plays a significant role in climate change".

Their finding that the Little Ice Age of the 15th to 19th centuries was global means that the warming of the last century could be mostly the effect of coming out of that mini-freeze. Which would mean that the carbon dioxide scare is a scam. Even after the post-little-ice-age warming, it's still not as warm as it was 8,000 years ago, after the rapid warming following the last Big Ice Age.
