You can't make it up XVI - acid oceans dissolving sea life (26 nov 12)

The Register is generally a skeptical site, so this is probably a parody:

The boffins at The Register know that the oceans aren't acid, they're alkaline. Or is it basic? I can never remember - anyway, more acidity makes them closer to pH neutral.
