You can't make it up XXV - head of IPCC admits to lack of global warming (08 mar 13)

Not only has he acknowledged that the world hasn't warmed significantly in 17 years, Rajendra Pachauri

"said that open discussion about controversial science and politically incorrect views was an essential part of tackling climate change."

These two statements are a 180° turn. They represent the abandonment of the IPCC's former position on global warming, and the abandonment of the position that their faith is beyond debate. It means the IPCC, Pachauri, Greenpeace (1), etc., are discredited. The media don't seem to have noticed this:

1. Greenpeace, USA explicitly opposed freedom of speech for climate change 'deniers':

"Don't the deniers have a right to free speech? There's a difference between free speech and a campaign to deny the climate science with the goal of undermining international action on climate change.   However, there's also responsibility that goes with freedom of speech - which is based around honesty and transparency. Freedom of speech does not apply to misinformation and propaganda."
