A further refinement of a new temperature scale (20 apr 10)

I proposed a new temperature scale. Here, I recommend an improvement. Instead of making the freezing point of water 460° M, I propose to make it 920° M. The boiling point of water would be 1280° M instead of 640° M. This has two further advantages on my initial proposal. The degrees are half the size of degrees Fahrenheit, so allow even finer measurements without resorting to decimal points. As well as being small enough for cooking, they are small enough for most scientific purposes. And there are 360° between freezing and boiling. The same number of degrees as the circumference of the Earth. Move over, Lord Kelvin.
