Face-eating attacks rare, say psychiatrists (31 may 12)

A man attacked another by biting his face. The assailant was naked, and his victim was located on a highway in Florida. With their customary compassion for the mentally ill, the police shot the face-eater dead.

Psychatrists agree that it is unusual for a man to take his clothes off and start trying to devour the face of another man in public. They are looking for the cause in a combination of the fact that the man was a loony, and perhaps he took a combination of "methamphetamine, crack cocaine, speed and possibly a synthetic drug cocktail known as bath salts".
