Trying to close your Bank of America accounts because they shafted Wikileaks, it's difficult to get them to send you your money. I tried various numbers, and either was lied to or cut off by Bank of America staff. I found the best way is to call this number, which I found at this link http://gethuman.com/Bank_of_America-phone-numbers_100.html. The lady who answered got through to a chap called George with an Indian accent (I guess Indians are often called George after George VI, last emperor of the Raj) who said they'd send the check 'this week' but it would take '10 - 15 business days'. That's what they said five weeks ago. BTW - at last they sent me my money - after only eleven days. Try that number. It works. Back
