Is Europe a 'vast continent'? (21 jan 12)

"Europe too has much to offer - beyond the perennial favorites of London and Paris, lies a vast Continent - from the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania) to the Aegean region (Greece, Cyprus, Turkey) - there is much to explore and absorb." Wow. I never knew that. I though Europe only extended from Watford to Ivry-sur-Seine.

Come to think of it, as continents go, Europe isn't particularly 'vast'. There is only one continent which is smaller.
