Why it's worth helping Google correct their bike map of the USA (19 feb 13)

The current instructions mention several dirt roads. Sunburst is dirt after about 3 miles north, so is Sandoz and also Joshua Tree Rd.. 'Dirt' in this part of the world means 'sand'. This is extremely hard work on a bike in the hot sun. The only practical route is as follows: From Joshua Tree, take Park Blvd. South. After 1 mile turn right onto Alta Loma Rd.. Continue on Alta Loma/Yucca Trail 8 miles 'til Joshua Lane/Old Woman Springs Rd. Turn right. Follow Old Woman Springs Rd/CA 247 44 miles to Lucerne Valley. |
