The Guardian has found that the predicted extinction of a butterfly due to climate change has failed to materialise - in fact the insect has multiplied. "Research on global warming's effect on the natural world acknowledges that there can be benefits as well as actual and potential disasters, and also recognises the ability of species to adapt." http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/may/24/brown-argus-butterfly-climate-change Yes, but The Guardian has not been in the forefront of spreading the good news.
