You can't make it up LXVII - "climate change deniers" are compared to ISIS (08 mar 15)

Every day it seems the new Lysenkoism plumbs new depths. Doubt about global warming alarmism was compared with "holocaust denial". Next, the alarmists amalgamated climate skepticism, opposition to vaccination, and belief in the book of Genesis, in an amalgam which would make Lenin blush. The cartoon above goes a step further, and compares skeptics to Muslim extremists.

It's like when Lysenko's followers in the Soviet Union claimed that Mendel's genetics is "an enemy of the Soviet people". The histrionics was a symptom of lack of confidence and justified fear of the coming apocalypse.

Hopefully, this obscene behaviour is a sign of a movement on the brink of following its predecessor into the garbage can of history.
